I’m relaunching Dragonfly Ave for what feels like the bajillianth (not a word) time. This time though, you’re getting an all-inclusive behind the scenes look at the relaunching of Dragonfly Ave.
You see, it’s been a solid 4 years since starting my entrepreneurship journey (pretty much after I graduated college). With a lot of ups + downs, mindset shifts, name changes, business ideas + hope that it’ll all work out for the best. Throughout it all, I’ve made some money, but lost a lot of what fueled me. I got stuck in what I should be doing, the over-night success strategies (which don’t exist), the comparison games, the perfectionist mindset + the pressure to make it all work cause I’ve been at it for so long.
Recently, I’ve been trying to get back to what made me want to start a business in the first place – and it wasn’t to feel stressed out all the damn time – but to do something that I love and make a living out of it. To make an impact + hopefully help some people along the way. To empower others + have fun doing it.
None of which I was doing recently, more just going through the motions.
I mean, don’t get me wrong. I’ve absolutely LOVED every single one of my clients, I’m proud of the work I created + I’ve learned way more than I thought I would (and still have more to go).
But I’ve been thinking + wanting to do this potentially radical idea -> start over. start from scratch. take all that I’ve learned + begin again. Yes, I know, it’s not super radical, but it’s hard to do! As I rebuild, I’ll be sharing it all! Every step of the way of my new journey.

Rather than trying to be perfect, I’m kinda to the point that all I want to be is me (cheesy, I know!) but it’s hard being someone else (and incredibly tiring!). So, I’m hoping you’ll all join me on this journey. It’ll be a little messy + you can expect to see some changes on the site + everywhere else you find me. But I’m super excited!
