How To Add A Favicon To A Squarespace 7.1 Website

In todays video tutorial I’ll be going over how to add a favicon to a Squarespace 7.1 website. This is part of our Squarespace Basics series that’s geared to help beginners use the platform and gain confidence. This video will go over where to add your custom favicon within Squarespace so your website can be on brand and look more professional. Your favicon should be 25px by 25px and either a PNG or JPG format. You’ll be able to easily upload your favicon to your Squarespace site after watching this video or following the step by step guide below.

Steps to add a favicon:

1. Squarespace Dashboard > Design > Browser Icon

2. Drag and drop or upload your favicon

3. Click save 

4. Exit it and refresh, the new browser icon will show up!

5. You’re all done – told you it was easy! 🙂
