You may be wondering what the hell is a lemon plum? To be honest, I’m not entirely sure, but I think it’s safe to assume that a lemon and a plum got a little too friendly. Anyways, I found these lemon plums at my local Sprouts and immediately was excited to try them. Luckily they turned out pretty damn tasty. I decided to then make them into a lemon plum donuts with a chocolate glaze to help with the sour lemon. They were really good and quite refreshing! Hope you enjoy making these lemon plum donuts!

Lemon Plum Chocolate Glaze Donuts
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cup almond flour
- 1/4 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 egg
- 1/4 cup arrowroot powder
- 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
- 1 tbsp vanilla extract
- 1/3 cup maple syrup
- 1/3 cup olive oil
- 2 lemon plums
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees
- Mix all wet ingredients including maple syrup, olive oil, vanilla extract, lemon juice & egg
- Grate the lemon plums
- Add the grated lemon plums into bowl
- Add in dry ingredients including almond flour, arrowroot powder, salt & baking soda
